Water is a constant problem in the state of Telangana. When one is lucky enough to find water and create a well head, the water that is available is toxic.  It contains a poisonous substance (florins) which make the water undrinkable.  It can, however, be used for such things as cooking, cleaning and bathing.

However, during the heat of the summer, even the wells dry up and the people have to resort to purchasing water delivered by a truck.
