Donations

The skeleton of the structure of the day care center, Amma Vodi, in Narketpally is now complete. Now it is time to start applying bricks to the exterior. Thirty Thousand bricks will be needed for a structure this size. Since $1.00 will purchase six bricks we need to raise $5,000.00! But already people have donated enough ($343) to purchase 2,058 OF THE 30,000 TOTAL bricks THAT ARE REQUIRED.

Because of the poverty of the people, each of the areas mentioned above can only be achieved through generous donations.

School Books and Carrying Bag $50.00
Noon Meal for one child $00.50

In the area of CLOTHING the following is needed:

A dress for a child $15.00
A pair of shoes and socks $9.00
A tooth brush and toothpaste $3.00
A soccer ball $8.00

In the area of FEEDING THE POOR, the following is needed:

A bag of rice $12.00
Enough rice to plant 2 acres $1,200.00
A bag of chemicals (to treat rice) $13.00

In the area of BECOMING SELF - SUFFICIENT, the following is needed:

One goat $50.00
- (Two goats would help to begin a herd)
